The short version: your birth date is never uploaded. There is no account, no analytics, and no third-party tracking. Everything you tell FateCast stays on your phone.
FateCast has no accounts and no servers. We do not ask you to create a login, and we do not have a place to store one.
The app stores the following on your device only, so it can draw your chart and remember your usage:
None of this is transmitted to us. We could not disclose it if asked, because we never receive it.
FateCast is supported by ads served by Google AdMob. Google may use device identifiers, advertising cookies, and information about how you interact with an ad to serve and measure it. Ads are requested as non-personalized by default.
Google's use of advertising identifiers is governed by its own policies, which you can review at policies.google.com. You can opt out of personalised advertising system-wide in your device settings, and you can reset or delete your advertising ID there.
We do not receive your name, email, or contact details through advertising.
Fate changes and subscriptions are sold through the App Store and Google Play, and Apple and Google process those payments. We never see your card number or billing address.
Subscription status is checked with RevenueCat, a service that confirms whether an active subscription exists. RevenueCat assigns your device an anonymous identifier so it can recognise your purchase. It is not linked to your name or email, and you can reset it from within the app.
Daily reminders are delivered by your device's notification system. The scheduling happens on your phone. We do not operate a push notification server and do not see whether a reminder was delivered.
FateCast is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has entered personal information, contact us and we will help you remove it.
Because your data is held on your device, you control it directly. To erase everything FateCast stores, clear the app's storage in your device settings, or uninstall the app. There is nothing left behind with us to request.
If you make a purchase, you can request a refund through the App Store or Google Play, who handle refunds under their own policies.
Local app data is retained until you delete it or uninstall. We hold no copy, so there is no retention window to describe.
If you are in the EEA or UK, you have rights to access, correct, erase, and restrict processing of your personal data, and you may complain to your local data protection authority. Because we do not hold your personal data, these requests are satisfied by clearing the app's local storage. For questions, contact us and we will point you to the right place.
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
